One Uptown is home to world class art pieces. With that said, One Uptown identified a highly accomplished Dallas artist to commission an art installation outside of the One Uptown building.

The piece is a 16 foot tall, stainless steel, mirror finish sculpture titled “Uptown Moment” which was inspired by the building’s elegant curved slab which carries up through the tower. At first viewing of One Uptown local artist Brad Oldham narrowed in on the distinctive shape of the building. The location, the visual experience and the ideas inspiring the artist all pulled together in the title “Uptown Moment”. Per the artist “consider the moments in your life that are “frame worthy” or the memories that are triggered in viewing your personal framed artwork”…Uptown Moment intends to capture those moments. To this point Brad has skillfully played with the iconic shape of the building’s slab to produce a sculpture that viewers and pedestrians will want to engage with. The sculpture “Uptown Moment” sits at the main corner of McKinney and Routh the epicenter of the social scene in Uptown Dallas.
